Online tutoring for Liverpool students
Liverpool's state schools are comprehensive, but just across the Mersey the Wirral still has selective grammar schools - so for many Merseyside families the 11+ is part of the picture. Online tutoring gives a Liverpool or Wirral child a tutor matched to their stage and exam board, without the tunnel or the ferry.
Lessons are live over video on a shared whiteboard, around the school day.
The Wirral 11+ and secondary transfer
Wirral's grammar schools select pupils through the 11+, taken early in Year 6 and testing a mix of English, maths and reasoning skills. We prepare children one-to-one, building the core skills first and then exam technique and timed papers. For families staying within Liverpool, the same work strengthens the Year 6 SATs and the move to secondary school.
GCSE, A-Level and university
We tutor GCSE and A-Level students across AQA, Pearson Edexcel and OCR, focusing on the topics that cost marks and on exam technique. For university, we support students at the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores and Liverpool Hope in maths, the sciences, economics and essay writing.
